CHRISTINA + ANDREW ENGAGEMENT 22 AUGUST/03 OCTOBER 2009

I have known Christina for awhile haven lived as my next door neighbour you can say that we grew up together. And today I am delighted to be Christina and Andrews wedding photographer but today was our chance before their BIG day to have fun and be in front of the camera and let the fun start. We first headed to the place where they were going to say their vows at the foothills of Mt Cootha Botanical Garden. We were blessed by sunny and warm weather perfect for their engagement photography shoot.

We roam around the garden with some of the beautiful native flowers you could see but most of all we were intrigued by the tranquil and peaceful surrounding areas of the Japanese Garden with it manicured lawns, trimmed hedges and the flowing water as you walk through over the wooden footbridges as well as tip toeing on the laiden stones. This was a place that you could lose yourself and watch the world go by but only hear the trickle of water flowing over the bed of stones. The next stop was the Brisbane Power House by this time of the day it was getting dark but I was very keen to shot the expose brick work.

The next session was GoMA Gallery of Modern Art. Again Brisbane weather did not disappoint us, so we walk around the area and found that the glass and concrete structure of the buildings with it's clean lines to be playful. So I hope the next time you will see their wedding day so enjoy.
