COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY | RENT BILLBOARD

It has been awhile since my last blog entry but there is great news. Today is a massive event for Wicked Idea Design + Photography because a 6 meter billboard will be place at Brisbane busiest train station, Central Station advertising RENT! The smash-hit Broadway musical! I am very happy to see my work on display as the lead actor and actresses were photograph by Wicked Idea Design + Photography. Not only that go see the play showing at Schonell Theatre Union Road, St Lucia. Brisbane, Australia at these following dates from Friday, April 29 at 7:30pm - May 20 at 10:30pm.

LIFE'S A BEACH

Last weekend I could not have had a better start to the weekend by spending in great company with Kylie. We headed south of the Gold Coast, to see the start of the ASP World Tour - The Association of Surfing Professional located in Queensland, Gold Coast and New South Wales border between Coolangatta and Tweed Heads. You see not only do I love what I do as a photographer, in the fields of wedding but my passion for the great outdoors and the active lifestyle that I really appreciate such as going down to the beach with the sun, sand and surf.

I have been attending and photographing the event of the Quicksilver and the Roxy Pro for the last couple of years to see the likes of 10 times ASF World Champion Kelly Slater, 4 times ASF World Champion Stephanie Gilmore, and 2 times ASF World Champion Mick Fanning. There are plenty of local Aussies competing in the event that includes Taj Burrows, Bede Durbidge, Joel Parkinson to name a few and also in the Roxy Pro such as Stephanie Gilmore, Sally Fitzgibbons, Tyler Wright again just to name a few. The Australian flag showed it's patriotism the flag was hoist in the apartments buildings and houses of the area showing its support to all Aussie who are competing in the event.

The day was not all about the surfing culture, it was a day spending time with Kylie as we sweltered under the Queensland sun, hovering in 35 degree temperature. Kylie has a passion for photography which is her daily profession and her love of the water, she is learning to surf which is awesome and the rest of the story in due course.
